Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice delivers in-depth, hands-on training across all areas of the criminal justice system, building on the foundational knowledge gained at the associate level.
Students engage in advanced coursework covering topics such as criminal forensics, domestic and family law, criminal law and procedure, and contemporary issues in corrections. The curriculum also allows students to tailor their experience through focused coursework in areas like digital forensics or traditional criminal justice disciplines.

Throughout the program, students explore specialized subjects including domestic terrorism, ethics, white-collar crime, corporate security, and police operations—developing skills in report writing, use of force, critical incident response, and advanced investigative techniques.
In their final term, students apply what they’ve learned through a multi-session Senior Capstone. This immersive experience simulates a real-world investigation, from processing a mock crime scene to collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and presenting findings to a panel of law enforcement professionals.
Students may also have the opportunity to complete a senior internship, gaining real-world experience alongside professionals in police departments, courts, correctional facilities, and investigative agencies.
Graduates are prepared to pursue entry-level roles across the criminal justice field, including law enforcement, corrections, investigations, court services, and private security.
